Welcome Kyle. Unfortunately, our information is that Yolo is not a CCW friendly county. http://www.calccw.com/Forums/county-...-issuance.html

However, you can always contact the Sheriff's Office and ask them about their CCW policy. Here is a link to their site Yolo County Sheriff's Home 2008.

Also, if you haven't already done so, use the search feature on this site for all posts on Yolo.

Good luck.

Welcome k-y-l-e to CalCCW. It's great to have you here. If you have questions about getting your CCW, you've come to the right place.

Welcome to the site! As indicated above, Yolo is a tough nut to crack. Their issuance policy is effectively as difficult as Sacramento County's. Both Sheriffs from Sacramento and Yolo Counties have been named in lawsuits regarding CCW issuance matters. That case has been stayed pending the outcome of the McDonald case that will be heard by SCOTUS...

It's not impossible to get a CCW from Yolo... it's just very difficult.
