Default new member from San Bernardino County

Hello to all members. I am in the process of applying for my CCW in S.B. County. I am looking for tips before I turn my application in in a few days. I am a firearm instructor and teach privately.

Welcome. We have several members from San Bernardino. I'm sure that they'll be along shortly to help you. The good news is that SB is a very CCW friendly county.

Welcome to CalCCW 1911carry! It's great to have you here!! You shouldn't have too much trouble obtaining your permit in SB Co., and as stated above there are plenty of resident experts to assist you with any questions you may have, I'm sure someone will be along shortly. Good luck and keep us posted!

Be 100% truthful about everything and make sure you comply with all instructions.

They really are a very friendly and pro CCW group over there. I have enjoyed all dealings with that department.

Don't be nervous.... good luck!

Welcome aboard, it is good to have you on our side.

All I can say at this point is review your good cause and consider your good cause carefully.
See this previous post for some insight. Good Luck

Email your GC to CCWI and do not post it here. Keep it private. Also pay attention to EM2's suggestion.

Welcome to the forum. You will find the SBSD very professional and friendly to deal with on CCWs. Be very complete on your application, be truthful, and contact CCWI to review your GC.

Best of Luck on your quest

Question

what is CCWI? I am assuming it is someplace I can submit my good cause statement for review. Is this correct?

CCWI is member CCWInstructor (guys, new folks to this site don't know our shorthand). You can contact him via email at greg@firearmstraining.com.

Hi guys, I'm in the same boat as 1911carry that I also live in SB county and am about to turn in my app. However, I'm still figuring out my GC statement. Any tips would be helpful, but I am going to email CCWI for more help. Thanx for advertising him...
