Here, there is no requirement for a CCW to purchase ammo.... but i digress.

Obviously there is more traffic here, so it's not going to effect my membership here at all.

Differnt people started this site. We are on good terms with the owner of the other site.

Man I feel dumb! I'm using another computer and typed in this address from memory, thinking that it was the other one. Since I recognized many of the posters, I didn't think twice. Then I tried to post and saw that I couldn't log on. I triend to register, and had problems. I shot off an angry note to Adminstration asking what happened to my account. An account was created for me with the same login that I though I had. OOOPS! So I would like to publicly apologize to the site administration for getting mad at them for deleting my nonexistent account. SORRY, won't happen again (unless, of course, you DO delete my account)
From what I have seen of this site so far, I like it. I really haven't read too many posts yet, but I like the layout.

I had actually already figured that out - I was just waiting for you to catch up

I thought something was wrong until I looked and saw that your registration date was that same day and your userid was too new to be old. Welcome aboard.

Anyways, I'm from Alameda county, and can't afford to apply at the moment do to being in college, but I like to stay updated on things.
Yeah, don't worry. I remember you too.

Oops (feels about three inches tall). Thanks and sorry again for the rant. And thanks CCW... for trying to run interference.
Just out of curiosity, do you know how many (it seems like quite a few) migrated from the old site?

65 in the first 48 hours. Haven't kept to close of track after that. It's well over 100 now.

Didn't intend to sound elietist, just had some pms with one of the other founders and he had suggested I check it out.
At the time the other site was having a few issues and traffic had slowed down a lot and I found many familiar folks over here.

I am certainly glad you and so many others are here to share good info and stories with a great bunch of folks. It keeps us all up to date with the current issues.

Well, I've been pretty busy with school and all. It's my last year and we have to do a senior project in order to graduate, and it's taking all my time, then my wife takes whatever I have left. I have also come to the realization that I can not afford a CCW right now, and the fact that I may end up in less friendly Santa Clara county within a year or two, would be a waiste of money even if I was able to get a ccw in Alameda.

Oh yeah, I remember you. Didn't we have a heated dissagreament about something in the past on the other site? Oh well, the past is the past. I hope all is well with you now-a-days.

Well, I'm glad I found were everyone is at. I probably won't be too active, but it's nice to know were I can go for up to date information concerning CCW and gun laws in California, and what I can do to support better laws here.
Oh man, now I feel the need to go buy some ammo for a visit to the range, it's been too long.
