This WOULD effect me...
I have DOT and CA #'s... However, we are not a hauler "for hire." We use our rigs for our own hauling. This makes some things not apply to us... I have no idea WHAT things.

This question comes up often in gun forums and the conclusion is always that there is no Federal prohibition based on DOT regs. Always a matter of local/state law and company rules.
I'll be very interested in any info to the contrary. I have maintained a commercial class A license for many years and have never been shown anything regarding the subject. Of course, whatever the truth, if we don't know (and can't find out quickly) I predict most LEOs won't know either.
