AB 2948 (Cow Palace)
For those of you who don't have email notifications on these things; California Assembly Bill 2948 was defeated yesterday (8-18-08).
This was the attempt to ban gun shows at the Cow Palace. The vote was 20-19. 1 vote defeated it. 19 politicians voted to ban gun shows.

Hoooorrraaahh! This means there will be a gun show in the the heart of liberal city--@ the Cow Palace on Sept. 26! I'm going that day to celebrate gun shows!

Road trip.
I had been meaning to attend the gun show at the cow palace someday. Is it a good one? I had been to a gun show in Reno some years back and it was awsome. The show in Sac. at the fairgrounds was pretty large and had a wide variety. Mostly I attend the gun show here in Fresno.

The craziest thing about this, is every year they hold a "ball" at the Cow Palace around Halloween. It's basically a costume party with a bizarre sexual overtones. People dress up in S&M attire, half nudes, complete nudes, booths selling sex objects and promoting various sexual beliefs, nutcases running around in the parking lots, strippers on stage.
It's basically a pornography convention. (1st Amendment...okay!) But dont' sell gun stuff (2nd Amendment...not okay!) It's amazing they wanted to ban gun shows through a STATE LAW for this one and only place...while that "Ball" goes on and no one says anything. It's no coincidence, that the guy who puts this "Ball" every year is a money-bags democrat who supports Obama. The scary thing is, that 19 politicians actually voted to make gun shows ILLEGAL in one specific location for no other reason than far left facist hypocritical ideology. There is no legal reason for a law like that. Let's introduce a Bill, to ban sex shows and these kinds of parties at the Cow Palace. See how they like it when they have a taste of their own medicine! Well spoken I spoke out against thr "Hookers"Ball as ban it if you are gonna ban gun shows at the Cow Palace.
