Gun Law Press

Get yourself a copy so you can avoid having to be a jail house lawyer.

By the way, CCWI is a consultant for the book and his name is in it. So believe what he is telling you.

the utility or glove compartment.

I just find this very interesting. He asked a question. He got a answer. Now he wants proof. . . . .

If I said yes it was legal (it is not) would you still have asked for proof.

I'm just curious, it nothing personal.

There are a lot of us like that. We just want to be able to cite the code when we get into an argument. That is why I suggested THE book. It lays it out in plain English and also cites the PC.

I could have...

And to harleybass47... I highly recommend that you go to that website and start reading. From about 12020 through 12054. And then get the book and then do some more reading. California's Firearms laws are confusing enough already. Read the Law. The book will fill you in on Case Law that clarifies things some more.

Or he could have done a search of this site and come up with at least these three threads.

http://www.calccw.com/Forums/legal/3...r-console.html
http://www.calccw.com/Forums/ccw-acc...ock-boxes.html

Can you carry in your center consol if you have your CCW, or do you have to keep it on your person? Thanks

It has to be in you immediate control. I think center consol would qualify while you are driving. But you would have to take it with you or secure it properly if you left it in the vehicle.
