If you've ever wondered why you should "shoot and shut up", look here
........and as much as I want to despise this criminal defense attorney/professor as so many others I've encountered in my travels, I can't disagree with pretty much anything he said.

Excellent educational video.
Very worthwhile watching. Highly recommended for all and should be required viewing for gun owners.

OK, the cop was a plant, but I guess I can live with that.
I sent the link to my kids. Even though (or maybe because) they are both pretty decent kids, I worry about them finding themselves in a situation and making things a whole lot worse because they "want to help". Although my advice to them is always "Careful who you hang out with". Thanks 45!

How many times have you been conversations with people and have them give you info not even close to the topic of the conversation? For me, lots of times.
I think, that if ever in a situation, my stance will be: "Officer, with all sincere respect, in 24 hours I will fully cooperate with you but first I must avail myself of counsel."
