We used to agree on the best pistols to carry but then those "O" Framed fancy CDP pistols clouded your thinking.

Do you mean if the COM box is under the passenger seat? I'm not sure how it would be under control of the passenger if the driver had the key.

Where do most folks carry your COM safes...driver side or passenger side? If you have an electric bucket seat on the passenger side it can be tough to put anything under it.

Driver side in one car, behind back seat driver side in another (crew cab pickup with folding seat).

I carry my gun (CCW!!) in the center console, in the glove box, on the seat next to me (concealed), etc etc etc.... The only time I have an issue is in the Lamborghini, because my kid (obviously) rides in the front seat, it has no center console, and the glove box is about twelve feet away from the drivers seat, so it might as well be in another zipcode.... So I usually end up throwing it under my seat.... Someday Ill have to brake fast and the damn thing is going to fly forward and break my ankle....

And yes, if I have to leave it in the car for some reason, the mag comes out and it goes in the trunk.

It does not matter where your Center of Mass box is located if your handgun is unloaded and locked in it.

We are talking about carrying your CCW in circumstances that would require you to have a valid CCW license.

I will often put my gun in the center console and have thought about putting it on the passenger seat, covered up by a towel, jacket, etc. However, once when I was pulled over by the CHP (pre-CCW), he came to the passenger side and opened my door. While talking to me he lifted up something that I had on my passenger seat (a jacket, I think).

Obviously, he was looking for something, likely a weapon. It all happend pretty quick, so if he would have found a gun prior to me being able to mention my CCW (if I carried at the time), that would be a bad thing!

The Lamborghini's trunk is big enough for that? I'm surprised, I didn't think you could fit more than a box of TicTacs there.

No, I was thinking that if the concealed handgun was in an unlocked glove box and you were in the drivers seat, a case could be made that the person in the passenger seat had control of your gun and therefore it was in his/her possession and not under you IMMEDIATE control.

Best to keep it under your control at all times for obvious and some not-so-obvious reasons.

The rear trunk is big enough for five bags of groceries (as long as none of them are perishable.... The heat from the engine will turn Ground Beef into MEATLOAF and Milk into YOGURT in about five minutes).

The front trunk is big enough for lots of wide FLAT things.
