I have a hunting buddy who is a cop. He has an LCP he bought in CA as a backup but he doesn't like it and wants to get rid of it. Nothing to do with the gun, he just has giant hands and I don't, so I want it.
So the LCP is legally in CA and he wants to legally sell it. Can I just go to my local FFL and do the deal? I don't want to break any gun laws and jeopardize my own permit. I'm in Ventura if anyone knows an FFL locally who will handle this transaction. I know this has been covered before but it seemed to center on transfers from relatives. |
