Default Carrying on Courthouse steps???

I buy homes and flip them and everyday the trustee sales are on the couthouse steps... Not actually in the facility, but right outside. Problem is I have large sums of cashiers checks on me to buy properties. Now there is much LE walking in and out and also a ton of thugs so I am mixed on this one... What do you guys think? I know they do not allow it in the facility because they have a metal detector...

Agreed, you are fine. Just don't go inside.

You can also apply to the presiding judge at the superior court branch for special permission to carry inside the courthouse. Get his name and contact info and write a nice letter requesting such and laying out your reasons. Due to the frequenc & high finance / liquidity aspect you may get permission but don't expect it.

If you do get permission, carry a copy of it and show it to the officers running the scanner before you do anything else. They usually wave you through without a scan once they know.
