Default Nordyke Decision

I have enjoyed reading the various posts, but felt compelled to join because I couldn't find that anyone had reported the PUBLISHED decision of the Ninth Circuit in Nordycke v. County of Alameda. Although the Nordykes ultimately lost--the Court concluding that Alameda had the right to prohibit gun shows on county property--the Court upjeld the INDIVIDUAL right to possess and carry arguments was a well established fundamental right at the time of the adoption of the Constitution, and was reaffirmed in the process leading up to the 14th Amendment. I my view, this was a very well thought out and well documented opinion written by Justice O'Scannlain, and by the unanimous panel, and well worth reading, despite its length.

Except that the 9th Circuit decided to hear the case en banc afterward, thus putting the decision on hold. On September 24th, the ruling from the en banc was to punt it to the Supreme Court. See this thread:

There is a search function on the menu bar. Search for Nordyke and you will find other related threads.
