Post Fobus Holsters

I was checking out different holsters, just to see which ones I liked the best. I do like the Safariland holsters with the rotating Hood. But I was wondering how easy and fast is it to draw and present your weapon with the Fobus Holsters.

How is the issue of "concealed", and "printing" with the Fobus holsters?
I'm under the impression that they are not that good for those parameters. Am I wrong?

Check this video out.

I have a Fobus holster and I don't like it. It was the cheaper version with no tension adjustment. The draw stroke requires a sharp pull upward at the correct angle. An incorrect angle will cause you to do a Barney. I would expect their more expensive model with the tension adjustment to be better. My BladeTech is much better. As for me, it is is MS VMII or nothing.

Ok thanks. I think I will stick with the Safariland as that is who makes my duty holster.

Stay away from the cheap hosters. They won't be comfortable (remember you're going to be spending lots of time wearing your weapon), and some may even fall apart.

Suggestions for kydex:
Comp-Tac
BlackHawk

Suggestions for leather (my recommendation):
Best:
Milt Sparks
Alessi
Brommeland
Mitch Rosen

Decent:
UBG (Ugly Bald Guy)
Galco
Safariland

DefensiveCarry.com (formerly CombatCarry.com) has lots of good info on holsters.
