Default Brommeland holsters?

I was curious if anyone had ever tried out or owns any holsters from Brommeland - High Performance Concealment Systems for the Professional ?

I read about them on the 1911 forums and it seems a lot of people like them. If they have a shorter turn around time then Milt Sparks, I might just order one for my Kimber.

I do not know about them. One thing, they have leather between the gun and your body. I like that feature. I mean by the back of the slide, rear sight area.

Brommeland's Max-Con V is often compared to Milt Sparks holsters as one of the top custom/hand made holsters. Only problem is, there's usually 6-12 mo. wait for them.

I lucked out on a purchase of a Para LW LTC that came with a 4 mo. old one (& 10 mags, 7 of them Wilson 8 rounders). The holster's very nice, though.

An up & coming holster maker & one who makes a model similar to Brommeland's is Nate Gable at UBG holsters. His site is: index
His holsters are about $60+shipping with about a less than 2 mo. wait time. I have 3 of his holsters (2 IWB & 1 pocket).

1911 Holsters and mags - MN - DefensiveCarry CCW Forum

A guy on DefensiveCarry (formerly CombatCarry) is selling a "lightly used with original packaging Brommeland Gunleather Service Grade Max-Con V for a 3" 1911" for $85 (retail is $100, with a 16-24 week wait).

I ordered one last April (06)... still waiting for it! My Credit Card was charged in Oct 06... called and confirmed my holster was being made... called again in Dec. and was told something about bad leather so I'm back in line. Called again in March... was told... sorry.. more delays and if I want my $$ back... he'll refund. Decided to wait since I paid for the damn thing already.

On the other hand... ordered my MS in Dec... got it in April

So... make sure you call and try to get a leadtime for your holster. If you can wait... order it.... if not... order something else.

Thanks. It sounds like I might be better off getting the MS in regards to the turnaround time.

I ordered 2 holsters and a mag holder about 10 months ago and still waiting... I wanted one for my Glocks and one for my H&K USP40 FS. It's going to take sooooo long for them to get here my wife won't remember that she already beat my azz a year ago for buying them!

Now I buy His and Hers everytime I order something, she doesn't end up as pissed and I heal faster.
