Default Glock Holster Questions

I am looking to buy a new holster and need some pointers. I do CCW occasionally either around the house or in different states, usually not for a long periods of time, maybe just 5 hours or so. I am looking for a good resonable priced holster. Either IWB or OWB would work. I do shoot IDPA and would use the holster for that every now any then.

I would be carrying a Glock 27 (subcompact) or the Glock 23 (compact). I would like a holster that could carry both Glocks in the same holster. Sometimes I want to carry the 23 sometimes I want to carry the 27.

Has anyone heard of anything good or bad with the D.M Bullard Leather Holster? I found one online for 55 bucks shipped. Its an IWB tuckable leather holster.

Does anybody have some recommandations for me? Thanks for the input!

I have the IWB holster for the officer/Ultra Carry model with the metal clips. Is that the one that you are referring to? Mine is black leather and it sits in my holster box. The main reason is if you look at the bottom edges/corners, it is squarish with rounded corners. Its okay for about an hour then the rounded corners start to dig into your body. I'll give you mine for free. Go with what AMSMike suggests or go OWB.

Check out The Wilderness. They have a zip slide that may work for you.

Check out the Comp-Tac MTAC holster. Get the slide version as it will hold both of them with no problem.

I have a Crossbreed that I bought 1 1/2 years ago. Like the MTAC, it is a "hybrid" holster in that it uses both leather and Kydex. The new CBs are tuckable as well as adjustable.

I've bought and returned a holster from CTAC and they do stand behind their product.

They both have excellent turn-around times also which is a huge plus.

Default Glock Holster

I choose the blackhawk lineup. All mine have thumb lock which is better in case someones trying to take away. CQC close quarter concealment, the C1311 fits both my glock 9 and 23.

Raven concealment is the best game in town when it comes to Kydex. I believe you will find a "Phantom" model for the 23 to do exactly what you need. Their ACR is working out great for me too.

I've tried Comp-tac CTAC & MTAC, Milt Sparks (VMII or SSII would be a nice choice too), Sidearmor, Serpa, Uncle Mikes, etc.

Hey all, I'm a lefty and find it very hard to find holsters without having to order over the net.

Then it still takes more time than usual.

Anyone know of any stores in the Chino Hills area that carries at least a few South Paw holsters.

It's a nice looking holster, but: Look how far the bottom of it is below the belt line. I have an OWB holster which can be worn with a tee-shirt because it has an ultra-high-rise cant as well as the FBI cant. When I get some time, I'll snap a shot.

Galco. I also have a matching mag holder. Notice how high it rides. It's high enough for a tee-shirt to cover and rides close to the body. It also has a forward cant loop hole for two different settings.

In my opinion the best Glock 27 ankle holster.

71659 - Ankle Glove Holster, Glock, Right Hand, Leather, Black

Very comfortable, nicely made.

Heres another if you don't like leather. Very nice as well. I own both.

48038 - Ankle Lite Ankle Holster, Glock 26, 27 & 33, Right Hand, Black

or check these out. Midway USA also has some nice holsters.
