I've only carried out of state, with my Utah permit, which has not been a problem to date.

Can anyone point me to documentation that would tell me where it is not allowed?

It is specific to each county. Orange County does not permit laser aiming devices on CCW guns. Others counties may permit them.

I appreciate the feedback. Up to now, I had never had anyone mention the legality, or illegality in this case, about CTC grips in California.

I will be sure to ask about them wherever I apply.

Thanks again.

He should be able to. The AMT are heavy for their little size, but with the right ankle holster, it shouldn't be a problem. Heck, I ankle carried a 442 for over 7 yrs w/o incident in a renegade ankle holster.

I carry a 342 the same way and you can run fine. My holster looks a bit more secure though.
