I use the SmartCarry Gun holsters concealed by SmartCarry concealed holsters every day. I wear dress pants and a tucked in dress shirt most days at work. I carry a Para P-12 (double stacked mag) and have never been 'made'. It's not a perfect solution, takes a little getting used to, but works for me. Access is better than ankle carry, not as good as IWB, but with some practice is acceptable. Bonus is it carries an extra mag, too.

I suggest one of the electronic child perimeter monitors. They are made for parents, but they would work very well in this situation. The way they work is, you put a wrist band on the "child" (in the gun case) and a receiver on the "parent" (you.)

If the "child" wanders more than (n) feet away from the "parent," (In your case, YOU would wander away from the gun unless someone tried to steal it) the alarm goes off and some manufacturers even offer a directional FINDER to help you locate the distant "child."
