Default Milt Sparks Demand?

I can't believe the prices Milt Sparks holsters fetch these days.

Milt Sparks Versa Max II 2 VM2 Holster 1911 3" Kimber - eBay (item 290226097503 end time May-04-08 07:26:44 PDT)

What I am really surprised at is that e-bay would permit the sale of holsters for concealed carry of weapons.

Holy horsehide, that's a lot of money! Is the demand for the larger size 1911 VM2s as high as the 3" model? One could buy from Lightning Arms or Top Gun and turn around and list them on ebay and double their money easily. Maybe triple.

I don't check that often, so i am not the expert here. I have seen them go up to around $200 before. Other members here may know more. I just ran into this auction today and could not believe my eyes. Crazy.

Check the completed auctions. A few MS holsters have gone for over $200 - but not many.

I saw that auction as well and I was ready to list my VMII for the J-frame I carry, but since i just got it on Friday and only carried it on Saturday ... I decided to keep it. FYI , the J-Frame VMII did VERy well in my belt while on a bike ride with my wife. It never jiggled, or felt out of place. I really like it. Even after biking for a 90 minutes and sweating some, there was no chaffing. I am VERY impressed. It does ride higher than other IWBs I have, but it felt so secure, I could have gone swimming with it. Cost - $110 including shipping. Wait .... 5 months. Summary - Happy.

How long until it's re-listed since the buyer backs out?

I can't take it seriously either. I bet the buyer is a deadbeat.
