Default What Holster For Motorcycle Riding ?

Need a Holster for my G23.
What is a good option for Riding, seems the IWB's would be uncomfortable and want to be pushed up and out when setting.
I'm thinking maybe a Galco FLETCH or similar with the top snap for good retention, sure would hate to hit a bump and the Pistol go bouncing down the road, only to realize the Pistol is missing when I stop for gas
It is getting warm so I won't be wearing much for a jacket, Jean jacket most likely.
What do you Riders use ?

My ride is VTX1800C:

I use an IWB Comp-Tac MTAC, but that design of holster uses the belt to increase retention, and my jacket fastens around the waist, which keeps everything snug. I also ride a scooter, which keeps everything pretty upright.

Something with good retention - either a positive snap or something, or just a nice tight holster - would be a good idea, in any case.

You might look at the Bianchi Carry Lok line, they incorporate a really nice quick release lock system. Your gun simply will not leap out, even if you stood on your head. Try the Carry Lok model 82 82 *CarryLok™

If you like them, Midway USA MidwayUSA — Shooting Supplies, Reloading, Gunsmithing, Ammunition, Gun Parts & Rifle Scopes "http://www.midwayusa.com" has the whole product line.

No suggestion on the holster but...

Never hang a motorcycle helmet on a mirror or backrest. It breaks down the inner shell, and won't work very well when you need it to.

try a shoulder holster it will hide under a vest if it prints get some vest extenders so your vest won't fly open going down the road

There are several companies making leather bike vests (see EBAY) that have built in concealment that are nice. I also use a bellyband with an XD9 SC for long riding days as long as it's not through the desert at 115 degees.

Try A-IWB (appendix-IWB). Many great threads about A-IWB on other forums.

Default Jacket

I have a denim jacket with a pocket sewn inside with w button flap. It is custom made by my local tailor and there is little, if any, printing. Not recommended for the desert in summer, but works well most other times.

My smartcarry works well on my scooter, but I've got a smaller gun in it. Not sure how well it'd work on a motorcycle with a glock. I don't have a holster for my glock 23 yet.
