Blade Tech's tek-lok system is very nice, but the rest of the kydex is pretty comparable. I might even give a very slight edge to comp-tac on the holster construction.

This guy makes gun "fanny" packs also. Nice guy. His shop is in Clovis, CA... in the same place he's been for the past 10 years. I have 2 of his medical waist packs. Very good quality work. His EMS waist packs are seen a LOT on the street with Medics and EMT's that wear them. I certainly did... and mine have come in handy a few times with supplies that I needed right then that wasn't within easy reach in a jump-kit. Or the surprise patient...
