Default Hooray for Comp-Tac

Just a shout-out to Comp-Tac who replaced the leather on my MTAC holster for no charge, when they totally didn't have to.

Excellent customer service (and very comfortable holsters, too!)

Just out of curiosity, how do Comp-tac kydex holsters compare with Blade-tech kydex holsters? They look comparable.. but just wondering if anyone owns both to give an opinion. Thanks.

Blade Tech's tek-lok system is very nice, but the rest of the kydex is pretty comparable. I might even give a very slight edge to comp-tac on the holster construction.

Depends on your prefered method of carry IWB or OWB. If you prefer to carry in a fanny pack then either system is good . . . . for training.

Neither; it had to be replaced because of me doing something stupid. Which I told them, and they still didn't charge me for.

This guy makes gun "fanny" packs also. Nice guy. His shop is in Clovis, CA... in the same place he's been for the past 10 years. I have 2 of his medical waist packs. Very good quality work. His EMS waist packs are seen a LOT on the street with Medics and EMT's that wear them. I certainly did... and mine have come in handy a few times with supplies that I needed right then that wasn't within easy reach in a jump-kit. Or the surprise patient...
