Default TT Holster for my Sig 239 .40

Another milestone for me!!! I just received my TT Gunleather holster in the mail yesterday for my Sig 239 in .40 I immediately compared it with the Milt Sparks and noticed a couple differences. The holster is deeper so it rides lower, which IMO is great for an IWB. Tim also put a sweat sock(?) on the chafing guard.

I've got to say that Tim is a great guy. This is the second holster in his line that were added because of my whinning and crying.

I will be wearing it this week and will post again next week with a report.

Is this IWB "tuckable?"

I'd like a pic if you've got one, but not sure about your old sweatsock

I'm back. I have been wearing this particular TT holster for two weeks straight. Am posting pictures as requested . . .

The sweat sock was a great idea! It took the place of a tee shirt at certain times. Very confortable with minimum thickness added that I could sense. After two weeks I can hardly see any wear, but I do expect to eventually see some. Very innovative on Tim's part.

I placed the two side by side, the M.S. VM II on the left. You will immediately notice that the TT was deeper and wider. Both are very comfortable but the TT spread out the weight better. Granted you must understand the the MS VM II that I have was designed for the 9 mm version of the 239, which has a thinner slide. CCWI informed me that the reinforcement on the MS opening was metal, so you can actually modify the opening with your fingers. The TT rides lower on my beltline than the MS does, so the pistol prints less. Both are excellent when wearing my regular polo shirts untucked. I don't have to wear baggy or loose shirts to keep the pistols from printing. The one thing that was extremely welcomed on my end was the fact that when reholstering my pistol there was . . . a positive click. That is the best way that I can describe the feel. If you are familiar with kydex then you will understand what I am trying to say. The fact that I have that with an all leather holster brought a smile to my lips.
