Default Belts You Use

I have three leather belts by Ted Blocker, two with steel lining. The steel lined ones are what I wear most days when carrying. I am expecting (any day now) a belt from Brigade Gunleather. I am also waiting on an Instructor's Belt from Wilderness Tactical.

I have two wilderness belts. The instructor and the frequent flyer I think they call it. My daily use belt is my Milt Sparks 1.5 Inch. Goes well with my Milt Sparks holsters. Great belt. Very stiff when I just got it, but now it's worn in and comfortable while being firm enough to support the weight of a Commander size .45.

I have two Aker belts, one black, one brown. Pretty stiff even after three months of use. But they do the job well.

Have a couple from Galco and one from Kramer...all are good. Looked into the Wilderness Belts but they just a little too tactical. May still get one but would probably only use it with an untucked shirt.

I just received my Wilderness Instructors last week, the CSM with the polymer insert. This is my first carry belt and it really does make a huge difference, I carry a 3" Ruger GP100 OWB. I only carry when untucked right now because of the revolver but when I get a semi-auto I wll go IWB and look for a leather carry belt. My only problem is the price, they get up there pretty quick and I would hate buy a "cheaper" (less then $75) one and find out it is a piece of junk that falls apart.

When out on the street I use a non gun belt I purchased from Hugo Boss, I like the fact it has Boss on it, it looks normal and does not give away any G U N signs.

I use a Liger belt: Liger Belts

It won't roll, is vertually indestructable, & is thin like a regular belt, so it doesn't look like a gun belt. The belt hooks onto the belt buckle underneath & the excess threads behind the belt, so it's clean looking. It's also made in the U.S., & is reasonabley priced. You can find them, like the site above for $60, including the shipping.

I have no financial or indirect marketing interest in them, just a happy customer. Like I said, I like the thinness, & a regular thickness leather belt will wear out fairly quickly (Within a yr). I carry everyday, so that's important.

I can't stand my Liger belt.

I received the Brigade Gunleather belt I ordered a few days ago and have been wearing it consistently. It is not steel lined like the Ted Blocker belts I have, so it is not rock solid firm, but it is very acceptable for a double thickness belt. Roll is not an issue. Workmanship is very nice. The wait was long (6 months), but I'm pleased.

I just received my Wilderness Instructors belt and love it. I never have to worry about tucking in my shirts, so no one will ever see it. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to put it on though, until I actually did it.

I have Galco Contour belts for use with my suits, and Sparks, Maverick and Comp-Tac belts for casual wear. All are very good.

Chas.
