Default Holster for Colt Government .380

Hey All,

I'm looking for some input on what holsters you all are using. How are the ankle holsters? Do they move around alot? Just trying to find something without building up a huge collection!

Thanks!

Galco makes a excellent ankle holster with a top strap. The non top strap holster moves around.

Galco holsters; Holsters; Gun holster, pistol holsters, western holsters, shoulder holsters, leather holster and Glock holsters

I personally carry in a uncle mikes pocket holster.

Sorry. That is not allowed. You have to have a holster drawer like the rest of us. If I decide to carry my Colt Mustang, I'm going to have to find a holster too. I might look at that one CCWI mentioned.

I was looking at that one but did not see the Government .380 listed on their drop down list. I will give them a call on Wed or Thursday.

I wasn't sure about a pocket holster because I wear Levis' all the time. It looked a little uncomfortable.

I have 2 for the "The Most Common Kimber on this board" with a third on the way! With ammo prices going up and thinking about options for the .380, I have to watch my holster budget!

I don't think that one would work for me with my braces. I'll have to look at other options.

Maybe this one: Galco holsters; Holsters; Gun holster, pistol holsters, western holsters, shoulder holsters, leather holster and Glock holsters

I saw that one but it didn't look all warm and fuzzy like the other one!

True, but I can't use the other with my leg braces.

I called Galco today to ask about there ankle holster. They were not very helpful at all! I asked about other holsters that they had for the .380 and the guy said "If its not on the list then we don't have it." He didn't seem willing to help me find a holster from their line.
Oh well, still looking for other options.

That right there would make me find a compretitor selling a similar product with better customer service.

or call back, ask for the owner and try and get a discount because the sales guy was a retard.

Have you tried Bianchi? They have a HUGE product line of holsters, Bianchi - The World's Finest Holsters, Duty Gear & Accessories You may end up having to get a custom made holster otherwise.

Milt Sparks might have one in their Summer Special II line. I have seen them for the Mustang / Plus II guns before. I originally carried my CDP in a summer special II holster and it was comfortable and secure.

MidwayUSA - Bianchi 4750 Ranger Triad Ankle Holster Right Hand Beretta 21 Bobcat, 3032 Tomcat, 950 Jetfire, Minx, Colt Government 380, Pony, Sig Sauer P230, P232, Walther PP, PPK, PPK/S Nylon Black

I searched for the Galco. No luck for you from my effort.

Check link for what looks like the best bet. I agree with CCWI though. Having that extra strap up your leg to me would be a bonus. IE Glaco.
