I can permanently adjust your attitude problem, if you'd like. Just say the word and you won't have to worry about posting here any more.

thanks, that was the type of information and opinion i was looking for with the OP, whether or not this type of holstering would be safe and any problems such as with with using it...

i knew it would be controversial only because this forum has a rep of being hostile and a magnet for negative sarcasm and personal attacks, which it proved to be unfortunately... i wanted a rational discussion on the OP and to some of you who engaged in this type of discussion i do appreciate it as it was helpful...

i know you mods want to change the hostility and negative tone on this forum, but responses like yours won't help that... your response here to me is over the top, out of line, and i didn't deserve this type of disrespect... if you think my behavior was inappropriate a pm would have been much more effective and appropriate... you do what you think is right, i don't have an attitude problem but there are many here that do...

My viewpoint. YMMV.

Your own negative comments are also becoming very predictable.

What? Yet more negative comments from you when you don't want them from others?

More negative name-calling while you announce that you are shocked, shocked!

That being said people are passionate about what they believe. Almost all gun owners believe a gun is designed to be carry loaded.
Caneman, this was your clearest clue. But you chose to ignore it.

You are not paying attention. More to the point, you are causing your own grief.

Further name-calling by you is quite counter-productive. You are causing yet more of your own grief.

Caneman, you've been given entirely too many blatant clues that your behavior is what is causing your problems.

At this point, your cumulative behavior resembles that of a Dumb A-$-$. If you don't like that opinion, consider changing your attitude.

If you can't change your attitude, I'm entirely fine if you leave this forum for good.

Secondus: - You assume, the collective you for those in the catagory, who carry unchambered - You assume you will have two functional hands to manipulate the slide - having had both hands surgically altered this year.. I don't ever make that assumption...

me.. I think, and will admit I could be wrong, but I think, for what it's worth that if I'm in a fight everything went wrong.. everything.. like I wanted to not fight and everything I did to not fight didn't work.. so Mr. Murphy moved into both my back pockets and took up residence - so I think, for me, that if I'm in a fight with my gun, everything that could go wrong did go wrong, and I personally carry guns that I can manipulate with either hand one handed without depending upon some israeli two hand slingshot tango...to save my bagel....

so... it's an individual choice, of course...like always...but carrying a gun unchambered assumes things will go "right" for me in a fight for my life...and again.. If I'm in a fight with my gun, for my life, I train for not having the full use of either hand or both hands... so running away is on my list of preferred options... but having hit people before like with my hands... I can speculate that hitting them (ie: people trying to cut my head off and put it on a pole in his/her front yard) with my "unloaded" (read unchambered) glock is perhaps a sub-optimal idear...which is like an idea only stupider...

and just because someone who happens to have a GED and got his/her self hired as a LEO and carries his gun unloaded off-duty doesn't mean I should jump off that cliff - like my mom said - I've certainly, as a senior type FTO dude tried to train LEO's who were ulitmately better shoe salesman(women) than they will ever be effective LEO's... no disrespect intended.. we need good shoe sales persons...

and one of the most learned persons I know, vis-a-vis the gun industry carries one of them clip thingee's upon occasion with the gun loaded, not unloaded by the way, or should I say did, before he figured out he could by accident put some keys or something in that pocket or a knife in his pocket that hit the trigger thingee and then set hisself on fire...

so...again... mo power to ya...it's only your life what is at stake...

but if you have to back me up.. don't please and thank you.. as your head ain't in the game when your gun is unloaded...just let me know you don't have a loaded gun.. and that way when you load it at the scene of a fight, as in on the gound whilst you is getting the mojo kicked out of you, or stabbed out of you, or beat out of you with a cool wood baseball bat..... I'll be back behind you in case you have a malfunction (it's a fight, malfunctions are deriguer at fights) and set that #itch off in the walmart parking lot...and maybe you might set it off appropriately and then again it's a fight so I don't expect things to go well

just like i don't expect said miscreant to be impressed by the fact that I center-punched him/her/it with my G-lock 4-Tay....know what I mean Vern?

and I am carrying a LOADED glock 21 - as in 1 Rem GS 185gr +p in the chamber and 13 in the mag and two spare mags... whilst typing this...

but it's late and perhaps I have been horribly wrong about this... or not
Good words, El Gato!

His time-out is over at 7 a.m. on the 28th. Don't blink, you might miss his return.
