Default Thumbs up for TT gunleather IWB holster

I just received my new IWB holster for my ultra carry and love it. The fit is perfect and Tim was great to deal with. And it was only a 3 week wait. Here's the website TT GunLeather High Quality Leather Gun Holsters .

I've been using holsters that he made for me for the last couple of months. They are very similar to the Milt Sparks VM-II. They are very good quality holsters and I'm glad that I purchased them. Tim is a stand-up guy. When I contacted him he had no template for the Kimber Ultra Carry, he was kind enough to actually make one from scratch.

I am giving serios thought to canceling my VMll order and buying one of these since I would like to have one sooner than june. Are the differences between the two worth mentioning?

The only real differences between the two is the different shapes of the chaffing shield that protects your body from the pistol and the fact that at present Tim does not provide kydex clips. After the first one that he made for me, I asked for a slight modification that Tim was kind enough to oblige me.
If you go to his Ebay site, he has holsters in stock for all three sizes of the 1911. If you buy it outright they should be in your hot little hands within the week. If he has to make one for you then 2 to 3 weeks. The cost vary from $60 for the 3" to $75 for the 5" version. Or you can bid and watch the auction for 5 days.
Good holsters!

I normally don't get into threads involving my holsters, but I do not sell on Ebay anymore and did not want anyone to waste their time looking there. My site is the only place to find them. I am googleable

Thanks

Hygyliac, how do you like your TT holster now that you have had it for a while? I ordered 2 from Tim today and discussed your modifications? More comfortable?

Thanks
