I say give it a little time.
I had very high expectations for the VMII (hard not too hanging around this place) and couldn't wait to get one. When I finally did my first thought was WTF??? I had been happy with my Crossbreed and the new VMII was too stiff and poked into places the Crossbreed did not... But on the advice of some folks here, I gave the VMII a chance to mold to me, and soon it did. I now like the fit, the feel, and nothing I've found (in leather) holds the weapon as securely as does the VMII. Everyone's different and the YMMV thing comes into to play for all of us... but I say give it some time and if after a while you still don't like it, there will be plenty of folks here willing to take it off your hands. |

I'll give it some time, naturally. I don't expect it'll be hard to get rid of if I decide I don't like it. ![]() |

Seriously. the VMII is a dream, of a holster once it it broken in. When I started carrying mine brand new with a brand new Sparks belt i thought it was made of metal. Everything was so stiff and uncomfortable I almost lost hope. Give it a couple of weeks of 16 hour carry days and you will fall in love with it all over again. |

I also held out about getting a VMII, but finally caved when I borrowed one and tried it, now I love the VMII, you do have to hitch up your pants, cinch in the belt--wear it high and tight, then it is awesome. I carry a full size 1911, wear it usually 12-15 hours per day. Just recently managed to score a Milt Sparks belt to match the VMII, very nice quality, sturdy and well finished, well worth the $$

What are your specific complaints? Which part of the gun is digging in when you sit down? The only other tip I can think of without the answers above is to stop going commando and you'll avoid the inside wear! ![]() |
