Default Looking for a custom Gun Rug

OK...so I bought this new hog leg called a S&W .500 Magnum. With it's massive 8 3/8" barrel it's quite a handful. Great fun if your in need of a hand cannon. I'm finding a difficult time locating a nice rug for it and concluded I may need to go with a custom made job.

Does anyone know of a site that makes nice custom gun rugs? I saw on-line from USpeacekeepers a rug that was made by S&W for that particular gun. It even has their fancy S&W 500 logo on it. But, I have found out this is no longer available. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You might be able to have a seamstress put one together for you if you had one for them to reference. You'd probably get a better quality product when all was said and done, but might have to provide your own materials. Just a thought if you cant find anything...

Try Tim @ TTGunleather.

He used to offer gun rugs.

Hope you wear a wrist brace when shooting the new Howitzer

Might be worth talking to your local saddle maker.

Some of those guys can do truly awesome stuff and your options wouldn't be limited to fabric.

The first one's not a very good shot but next to my Glock 30 you can see the size difference! Now that I know how to do this there will be more!!

I suggest placing your new gun rug over your head when you fire the 500, that way the dent in your forehead won't be as deep...

Don't worry about needing to see the sights, with that piece just getting close is good enough!!
