Default Stiff Belt.... need to spend 80$?

hey all,

well this Monday im going to NV to take my 2 day CCW and defensive shooting course. My flimsy belts are not going to work for when im using the waistband holsters for my heavy P10. Do I need to spend 80$ on a Bianchi belt? ive gone to some stores, but the belts don't seem to be stiff enough to hold my high rise canted P10. does any local OC member have a recomendation for a store? I leave Monday AM. IM SO EXCITED!

I have one that doesn't fit anymore. It either shrunk or I expanded

I'll have to see if I can find it. What size waist do you need?

The belt is very important ! It's worth the money. Find a good gun belt and pay the price. Good Luck with your class.

I use Gun Belts by The Belt Man for all my gun belts. They'll easily outlast me.

Milt Sparks (6 month wait, worth the time and money) or The Wilderness for range work.

Me too but not gonna get one for the weekend. Though they do have a pretty good turn around time of a couple of weeks.

Just an example I have one that I wear almost eveyday for 2 plus years and it has held up great. If you order I say get the 7 hole version and don't forget to add an inch or two to the length if you are gonna use it for CCW. In other words measure with you IWB holster and firearm in place.

+1, I love my Milt Sparks belt, it is very high quality and is stiff and supports gun and gear very well. +1 on the Wilderness belt too, I got the titanium buckle model, love it.

if you're near a wally-word check out some of the belts there. they may have one made by Dickies that would work for a short weekend. Double-sided (ie you can flip it over for black or tan) and somewhat stiffer than the normal belt.

You won't get it by next week, but I would recommend TT GunLeather High Quality Leather Gun Holsters. I just got one of his belts & I must say that it is extremely high quality; a bargain for the price.

And "Yes", you will need to spend $80.00 for any good gun belt.

I couldn't find it so I naturally asked my wife

She says she got rid of it after the dog chewed on it

Wonder what else she didn't tell me she got rid of...
I'll be on a hunt for those Hawaiian shirts I bough in the 80's. I know they gotta be around here somewhere

Their in-stock belts ship within a day, if you're in a big hurry and are just looking for a good basic belt.

thanks guys for all your help and input.

I asked my friend who worked at the local PD if he had any cop belts.... he did!! its black, super stiff, and looks to be high quality. It holds my highrise P10 great! no sagging! and it was free

Im going to have to invest in more belts like these soon!
