Default Crossbreed Supertuck review

Here is my long-promised review of the crossreed Supertuck!

A few weeks ago I ordered the supertuck as a iwb holster. Although I didn't think it looked very nice I've heard it is extremely comfortable as well as concealable. Since I'm around people most of the day, I decided that this would be worth a shot.

When I got the package I was less than impressed, didn't seem like it was well packed-just really plain

Opening it up there were a few papers, as well as the holster (pic did not turn out well sorry)

Looking at the holster it isn't pretty-but it did look like it would do the job-I didn't buy it to look at, I bought it for comfort and NOT to be looked at!

Putting in my Taurus Pt-145 Mil Pro I really liked the fit. The gun "clicks" in for lack of a better term. It will not fall out even if it's upside down and I'm shaking it. Very nice.

As you can see the gun fits well, as well as the leather back.

On to what is really important when it comes to iwb ccw holsters-how does it hide my weapon? How comfortable is it?

As far as comfort goes, I have to say-its VERY comfortable. I wore it around the house all day, and several days after-I sit, walk, carry the baby, cook, and just lounge around. It gets to the point that after I adjust it to what I'm doing, (ie, move it foward when I sit back so the butt doesnt hit my side) I forget it's there. I wore it while friends were over to see if they noticed-they didn't. I wore it for a home date with my wife-she didn't notice. And again, I forgot I had it on-so when I got ready for bed-I was like-oh yeah!

Here are some pics of me wearing it and concealing it. Sorry for the mess in the background-I have the flu, but can't lay down for very long or my body gets super sore for some reason... So sleep didn't last long last night!

Overall-I would say what I said above-It's not the nicest thing to look at, but its REALLY comfortable, I don't even notice it's on most of the time-and more importantly-no one else notices I have it on. I paid 70 bucks for it, worth every penny imo. Its very concealable, and Drawing is a snap with it after some practice.

I would strongly recommend the Crossbreed Supertuck to anyone looking for a in-expensive, comfortable holster. As someone who sits at a desk some times, then drives for hours others as part of my job-its nice to find something that will not be a pain in my side!

Another lefty huh? Me too. I have the same holster and have actually forgot that I had it on at times.

I shot a rifle match Saturday and took my pistol and locked in my truck for the match but left my holster on. It was so comfortable that I nver noticed it until I caught myself resting the rifle butt on it while I was waiting to shoot.

I have owned that one and I have owned the one below.

Inside Waistband Holsters - Minotaur Holsters - products new home - Minotaur MTAC Holster

You will notice the one below is of better quality. IMHO It has leather covering the hardware and seems of better grade. But I will say the Crossbreed did work good while I had it.

Actually I'm not a lefty-for some reason it looks that way though. I guess its taking the picture in the mirror? Dunno but I'm a righty and the holster is on the right side.

+1 for comp-tac, their customer service is outstanding, I have an Infidel, and could forget it was there if the hammer of my p220 didnt spend half the time piercing my side.

I also have the MTAC for my G30. It's comfortable and conceals well. Of course the only time I have been able to take it out of the house was for my CCW class yesterday.... I have worn it around the house quite a bit. Got made by my four year old when my shirt rode up...
