Default Kholster

Well, I am inherently cheap so the Kholster has intrigued me for sometime. After reading what seems like hundreds of reviews I decided to give it a shot and order one. Now I know there are many wonderful holsters out there but I just have a hard time wrapping the old brain around paying around $100 for a holster. It should be here next week and after I wear it for a week or so I will come back and review it, just in case any others are looking at it and would like more info.

Everyone I have met that has skimped on a holster has regretted the decision within a short time. It's either uncomfortable, the retention sucks or it flops around. As is the case with everything, you get what you pay for. It's cheap for a reason.

I just checked that out. Their Full Moon idea is intriguing. It would allow you any kind of adjustment you favor. Up and down and cant. Similar to the concept of a Crossbreed. it should work provided the material they make it out of is good.
The Half Moon is like a Crossbreed.

I carry a Taurus Mil Pro PT140 so I ordered the Half Moon.

While I do believe in the "you get what you pay for" I have also found that sometimes a good deal really is a good deal. In this case Jimmy, the owner, is making these himself as a side business while working a full time job. Since the business is essentially just him, he has low upkeep and overhead allowing him to make a product cheaper than larger companies with employees and such. If he uses quality material, which I will soon find out, it is possible this will be a smart purchase. If not, I wasted $45 and I get a lot "told ya so's". I also like the idea of helping out the little guy. *shrug*

+1. Sounds like a noble thought. Speaks well of who you are!

What is this guy's return time? You're sending him a money order?

No, paid via Paypal. I ordered the holster last Wednesday evening (6/3). I received an e-mail telling me it shipped on Friday and should be here on Monday (6/8)

I know that you're looking for a cheaper option. But if this doesn't work out, I suggest you call TT Gunleather. He recently added the PT140 to his line. Little extra $$, but well worth it, from the examples my friend has. Can't wait to get mine to try it out.

Okay, I have been wearing my new Kholster for 5 days and so far I am very a happy with it. I really like that it I can easily adjust how high I can carry as well as the cant. After trying a few different positions I found the perfect spot. It is incredibly comfortable, which is nice since I am by no means a small man. My gun no longer digs into my love handles and I can sit and move in complete comfort.

It was definitely worth the $45.

I'll be curious as well. Unfortunately, I don't think they make one for my gun.

I also ordered a KHolster a couple weeks ago for my Glock 30, and have been wearing it almost every day since I got it. I love it! That large leather backing was what sold me. I always have a problem with the back of my gun digging into my side when I try going IWB, and that large leather piece is amazing! It very effectively prevents the pain in my side. My other problem with IWB has always been not being able to reholster my dang gun without loosening my belt, and holding the holster open as I put my gun back in. I love how the Kholster is rigid so I can reholster my gun one handed. The other thing that sold me on it, was the ability to tuck my shirt in when wearing it. I have discovered that to be very difficult though. I have a heck of a time trying to get my shirt between the gun and my belt line so I have not gone out with shirt tucked in yet with this holster. But yeah, the ability to have full adjustment of ride height and angle is awesome.
