When you say InBoost has "tested" the wolf springs.. I think you should remember that what the rest of the world means by the word "test" and way InBoost interprets the word "test" are two completely different concepts... InBoost "tests" things the way I want it tested... I mean geez.. if you read a gunny kinda magazine and they say they "tested" something... that usually means they took it out and shot a few hundred rounds.... that ain't testin'.... InBoost shoud be in the gunny magazines lexicon/dictionary/reference under the meaning of testing...he should get the Nobel testing prize... the guiness book of world record for the use of the concept of test... he tests free of charge to all of his readers in a manner more thorough than any lab I ever heard of...

Cool Cat, thanks for the kind words!
ttsail: I would absolutely recommend that you give the folks at the W.C. Wolff company a call (I don't see your specific gun on the website at first glance). The prices are very fair and they supply manufacturers (Kimber for one) or little people like you an me with the same courtesy and respect. I believe that you will find that the recoil assembly in your micro is the same design I have in my Kimber Ultra series gun. This means there are two springs in series on the recoil assembly which may require special tooling to break down. I would advise you to read this thread on the Kimber springs El Gato is referring to to get the whole picture: Question For All Kimber CDP Owners A good photo of a broken down Kimber assembly is in post #22 and I still have work to do to finish off the testing eluded to earlier by El Gato. Seems my work is never done, but the day I don't have a gun to tear apart would be a boring one indeed! |

While you are at it you might want to order a couple. They are supposed to be replaced often (forget the # of recommended rounds), and save on the shipping.
