Default "Animation" O-Frame Assemble

Thought this was kinda cool. Pulled it off of another site.

There are some differences in the video from the Kimbers, specifically the recoil spring assembly. Are there other significant differences? I haven't been brave (or stupid) enough to strip my kimber farther than a field strip for cleaning.

Great find, by the way...this might embolden me with my Kimber the next time I strip it down.

There is no passive firiing pin safety in the slide assembly nor the frame. The illustration is a mil spec instead of the single piece full length guide rod that comes in the Pro-Carry and full size Kimbers.

It is a standard Pre-series 80 Government model. They are missing one pin.

The Colt series 80 and Kimbers series II have a firing pin safety that is not illustrated here.
