To me, they will forever be the California Angels; mostly because of all of the games I went to back then. Just like the "Honda Center" will forever be "The Pond".
![]() I was in Long Beach last weekend, near the convention center, and saw an Auld Dubliner across the street. I almost went in, but we decided to go to Islands instead. I couldn't drink anyway. ![]()

No surprise to anyone who's been there, but "The Irisher" rocked again Saturday night.
I took my clan and a group of friends, and about 40 in all, for drinks and a good meal, and we could not have had a better time. As always, the staff treated us like Kings and Queens, and my gang loved the attention. Our CalCCW girlfriend, Sara, gave us a private area to call our own, and the bartenders and servers gave us plenty of attention and reasons to have a great time... A Kick-Ass band came on around 9ish, and rocked the place pretty good and was the perfect addition to a great evening. I can't say enough good things about our friend Terrance, and his crew at The Auld Irisher. Thanks to one and all. |
