I was in Long Beach last weekend, near the convention center, and saw an Auld Dubliner across the street. I almost went in, but we decided to go to Islands instead. I couldn't drink anyway.

California Angels. those were the days, Angel Stadium, Gene Autry, Nolan Ryan, Rod Carew, Bobby Grinch, Joe Rudi, Brian Downing, Don Baylor, Frank Tanana; Ice cream on a stick, at the game, that wasn't shaped like Micky Mouse. Knott's Berry farm had free admission, Feeding the ducks at the pond by liberty Hall. E ticket rides at Disneyland. Heck, Disneyland period, before it became the "Greediest Place on Earth". Ahhh, to be back in the good old days again.
