As long as I can get Guiness in a non-chilled glass, I'm happy.

This is what I thought was Scotch Egg's. I googled it. I found nothing anywhere about an egg in a glass of Scotch.

I did find a lot of useful things to use Scotch Tape with

Servings: Makes 4 Scotch eggs, serving 4.

1 1/4 pounds bulk country-style or herbed sausage
1 teaspoon crumbled dried sage
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, crumbled
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
4 hard-boiled large eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 raw large eggs, beaten lightly
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
vegetable oil for deep-frying the eggs

Preparation
In a large bowl combine well the sausage, the sage, the thyme, and the cayenne, divide the mixture into 4 equal portions, and flatten each portion into a thin round. Enclose each hard-boiled egg completely in 1 of the sausage rounds, patting the sausage into place. Dredge the sausage-coated eggs in the flour, shaking off the excess, dip them in the raw eggs, letting the excess drip off, and roll them gently in the bread crumbs, coating them well. In a deep fryer heat 2 1/2 inches of the oil to 350°F. and in it fry the Scotch eggs, 2 at a time, turning them and transferring them to paper towels to drain with a slotted spoon as they are done, for 10 minutes.

I have been telling my family about the Auld Irisher since our first visit. Well last night we had a party of 11. Step dad, mom and I all had the Corn Beef and Cabbage! It was delicious!!!

5 of us stayed until well.......closing! They had a great band playing a variety of music. Everybody who joined me had a blast and said this is our new regular spot!

The service is just great. From talking to Terrance earlier in the evening to the on the spot service from Kristina all night. Also had a nice conversation with Sarah who is a doll and must have been cloned because that girl can move. I am not sure if she is a manager. But I could tell her mission was to make sure everybody was having a fun safe time.

Anyway the Auld Irisher rocks!!!!!

For those of you that have not been there on a night when they have a live band you are missing a whole new dimension of the place. Ok who is up for a Thursday night "80s band" gathering at our new favorite hang out????
