Smile Did not get what I wanted. But it is all good.

Was taking the wife for a little motorcycle ride a few weeks ago. She kept pounding on my back and saying “I need to stop we have been riding to long”. Silly girl you cant ride a motorcycle to long.

Any way I was not paying any attention to where we were and pulled into a parking lot close to a Denny’s. Thought I would have a coffee while she chilled a while. As soon as I pull in I spot the sign! “GUNS!”. Last thing I expected to see! Honey we have to do a little window-shopping first then coffie. Turned out to be a friendly little gun shop. My wife and I thought the place was very friendly. We talked with the people there a long time and told them we would be back.

I recently got a little unexpected money and we needed to get out of the house a little today, thought I might buy a little something I was looking at. I told my wife I was going to the gun store, “Not without me” was her response. So back we go. It is a rather long distance from us but distance is not every thing.

We get there and are looking in the case. My wife goes “That’s a pretty gun honey why don’t you buy that?” Ok! Ill take that one (Taurus PT92). I wanted/needed a 9mm any way as I did not currently have a gun in that caliber. That is a cute little gun too (Walther P22). OK! Ill take that one too! From sales person “Sir you can only buy one gun at a time” Me “No you misunderstand she is buying that one I am buying this one”. Some how I managed to pay for hers too.

Thought it might be pushing my luck to point to the .44 black powder reproduction pistols I had really intended to buy.

I spent a lot more than I intended. However, its all good.

Oh. Old West Guns in Industry and I am in no way connected to that store. It is small. You may not like them. I did.

Good for you! (and your wife!). One gun per month, that's your civic duty!

Come on, we know that you ended up with the .22 and the wife got the 9 mm. Thanks for the heads up. Always good to hear of a new store, that I wasn't aware of.

You have a wife who wants to go to the gun store with you?
You, sir, have remarkably little to complain about.
