I passed by Ade's today after my push-up competition with Duane at the armoury. The place was packed with only Ade and another worker manning the counter, plus one secret employee in the back buzzing the door. It was so crowded that it was a chore trying to see what pistols they had. Lots of Sigs and revolvers on consignmemnt, three Colt Pythons for you snake lovers.

Went to Ade's to DROS an out-of-state transfer. It used to be $70, it's now $85 .. just fyi..

I thought Ades was a percentage (10%?) based DROS....and that INCLUDES the state fees.


Unlike On Target who is $100 PLUS state fees.

It's been years since i've dealt with Ades, but I know it can't be cheap to stay in shape to take down Chuck Norris all the time...

OK, but it was always inclusive...not like other places that charge that much WITHOUT the state fees included.

I did a couple second hand out of state DROS's through a guy who is only 3 minutes from my office (or 3 from my home, however you want to look at it). He was $60 (which included the gov't fees), but at the time it was just easier for me to do, since I was working so much at the time and just couldn't get out to a guys office to do it.

(It was not that big a deal.... It didnt require a waiting period and I paid cash.... I was just really stoked to see he had it in stock!)
