You, “Mr. I can’t find the safety on my 1911?” Or you, Mr. “I need to polish my feed ramp?” I don’t think so!. Because of 1911 fans like you, Glock owners have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom.

You scoff at our “plastic guns” and you curse our ergonomics. But Glock owners carry the burden on knowing that while our frames may be plastics, and that our lower ends may melt if left out in the sun, our guns work just fine right out of the box. And our Glocks very existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, protects us just fine! You don't want to know the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at the range ... you want a Glock. You NEED a Glock!

Which gun was used in WW1 AND WW2, and Korea and Vietnam. 1911A1, 1911A2.

What has the Glock been used in ? "Die Hard" "Letal Weapon 1,2,3, and 4" AKA The hollywood special.

Kimbers and Springfields work just fine without a gunsmith.

Deleted because, in retrospect, I'm not as clever as I'd hoped to be.

By that standard, the M2 is the perfect gun. Too bad it's so hard to carry IWB.

Use whatever works for you, I can stand and argue with, and in favor of, or against all sides of the issue. All systems have strong and weak points.
Tomorrow, nobody will be concerned with this issue. It is of no consequence now.
You will not convince each other! Pack whatever is effective for you! Keep shooting!....I know I will!
The only time it will count, will be when you have to do it for real!

True! But it is fun in the mean time. It's no differnt than Ford Vs. Chevy Vs. GM.

It's all in good fun (or at least that's the intentions).

I'm actually one of those confused individuals who packs both...

I guess you can say that in terms of Handguns, I swing both ways....

Oh... and I reach for SB's CZ when I crave some strange stuff...

FYI - Ade can get that awesome(?) sniper rifle for you, or you can just get out the hacksaw and drill to make your Win Mod 70 equal the performance ... ... wanna borrow a drill?
I'd include pics, but mine is sooo ugly it would break the camera. .... consistent 10" groups at 600yds (10 shot) prone & sling - no rest..... is the best it can deliver ....

I like to compare my competition pieces to some girls I knew in college..... they may not have looked the best, but the performance is all that mattered.

Someone once said .. "always bring enough gun" .. note that I mentioned THEY ... means more than one

Back to the original thread ..... don't forget about Ade's Gun Shop in Orange South of Chapman and on Tustin Ave. .... great guy and we all need to keep him in business vs. the big guys - Turners, Fowlers etc ...
