I only had my lunch hour so I couldn't wait but I'll try them again. One of these days I'll have to tell the story of Randy and the Code 999 revolver. |

Sorry to jump in the discussion so late, but I just joined the forums.
I used to work at Grant's from early 2005 till the summer of 2006 (about a year and a half, a little less maybe) as a simple afterschool gig while I attended UCI. I can tell you that sign didn't mean jack. I think in a year and a half I had maybe three guys declare they were carrying. But we do have a lot of people come in who are not so gun savvy looking to sell off guns they've gone into posession of (inhertence, gifts, whathaveyou) and so we kinda like to have the gun cleared at the door. It was a safety thing because the guys behind the counter were not allowed to carry (unlike many gun stores I've been to where they are armed). As for Randy and his business...well, let's just say I'm glad I'm working at J and J now. I won't bad-mouth Grants openly because there are a few good people who work there despite all the bull****. |

If you guys get a chance to work with JandJDude over at J&J Armory, do so. He's a great kid and very knowledgeable. He also doesn't mind spending time talking about our favorite subject...even with old guys like me! I picked up a nice Kimber from him and will be back! |
