Default OK, having wierd problems with the site

Not sure where to post this, I hope this is at least an acceptible forum. I have experienced problems trying to respond to a thread, I keep getting the following error message:
RAD-G27, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
It's not consistant, some posts I can respond to and others I get the above. Anyone else having this problem or is it just me. What are sufficient privileges for a thread? I don't think my account is disabled as I am able to post this.

Anyone else have similar experiences?

It depends on which forums you are trying to post. All the FAQ forums are locked up. If you have new info on a certain FAQ, then send it to the Admin for addition. We keep a lock on those because we want to verify the info that is presented. Our intent is to ensure that the information presented is very accurate. This isn't Wikipedia where anyone can change the facts. There may be a couple of others that are basically news announcements that we aren't looking to have responses posted to. If you have info on those, go ahead and start a new thread in the appropriate forum or sub-forum.

Normally that is the message you get trying to post to a FAQ or Announcement thread. Both of those are locked.

I normally do not go to specific forums, I just check the "New Posts" and they have all been recent with current replies from other non admin users. It does ot happen that often, but it does happen. And the threads do not show as closed.
