Default Who should I go to?

Sorry, this may be a stupid question.....
But I would just like to know if I should go straight to the Sheriff of the county or just the Chief of Police of Temecula...

I'm just so used to using chain of command....

Who would be a better person to go to?
Has anyone here obtained a CCW by talking to the Sheriff of Riverside?

Hang tight .... you should get a proper response in a day or so .. I can give no informed response, other than to say .... be patient and you will get a good answer.

It will depend. Many cities defer automatically to the SO. Riverside County is better than some... they do issue. On the other side of the coin, they're worse then some. It will be entirely dependant on your Good Cause.

You will be surprise, No you are not exempt. Your best bet is write to your sheriff first and inquire. He will refer you to your chief of police if application is defered to him.

Temecula Does not have it's own police department. They are patrolled by Riverside Sheriff Department. The brand new sheriff is not issuing many new permits and is not renewing my current permits.

I don't live in riverside. I just know a lot about the old and new sheriff. The numbers are getting less and less each month.

I think that's a typo.
