By "range letter" do you mean the certificate for completion of the required firearms/CCW class and range qualification?

One chance is about all you get. A few people have appealed a no decision and ended up with a CCW. It does happen, just no very often.
As for Range Letters... It all depends on your good cause. I know that's not much of an answer... You're best bet is to talk with someone. I recomend you contact CCWInstructor. Send him a priivate message and ask you're questions. I'm sure he will be able to tell you much more then me. Good Luck and welcome to the forum. |

The good character letters have to come from someone who knows you well -- a close acquaintance. Unless you are a personal friend of the owner of the range you visit, they can't (and likely won't) give you a "good character" letter. And if he did, it would be as your friend, not as the owner of the range.

You do not need a "Range Letter".
