Unhappy Help with good cause

Hello again, I would like to apply for a ccw in OC but I know I couldn't get my employer to endorse it so I would have to go in another direction. I frequent the shooting range and transport firearms to and from. I'm not sure what would qualify for good cause with OCSD. Help!! Mike

Mike, Contact CCWInstructor via PM and put Good Cause in the subject line. Good Cause is not talked about in the open forum, you have to do it via PM or email only.

Mike,

Im a NEW-b as well, think this might help with getting you started.

You must state, in your own words, why you should be issued a CCW. In general, simply stating for protection of yourself and your family is not valid cause in California. You must state why you are more susceptible to a criminal attack than the average person.

More so than the Average person/citizen

Have a great one.

Has everyone read thru the FAQs. That is a good place to start where your more basic questions may be answered after a little reading and research.
