Default Application Typing in PDF File

I read a previous thread that the applicant typed in the file so when it printed out it was nice and neat. The application I'm about to fill out HERE , is in PDF format.

My question is, does anybody know how to type within the PDF file? I have adobe acrobat 4.0 but I do not see an option nor does it allow me to type.

Thanks guys!

Orange County Sheriff has posted the application with the ability to type in the fields. It's the same application, so it won't matter that you got it from their website vs. an agency in your county.

That PDF version that Hoser posted is what I used. It was a lifesaver considering the way my handwriting looks.

Ahh...Thanks so much guys! While my handwritting is neat, I think it would be appreciated even more so if it was typed out.

Now after I get this filled out it will be time to think of a "good cause". In my opinion good cause is personal defense, and my 2nd ammendment... However, I realize this wont fly.

Feel free to have one of the experts here give it a once over when you're finished.

Default San Bernardino County

The San Bernardino County packet is picked up at the SD and is date/time stamped. It contains some SBSD specific requirements and the standard DOJ packet.

I used the online PDF to complete the DOJ application, then used my Adobe Acrobat to save it as a completed PDF (for my records) and printed on green pastel paper to match the San Bernardino County packet. Looks a whole lot better than my handwriting and matches their packet.

The SBSD specific pages of their packet are for the four references to include the reference's birthday, the applicant's complete employment history, and the applicant's residence history for the past 10 years.

Not too bad to complete the application in this manner.
