From Sunland, CA ( L.A. County)

This is obviously my first post. While I did browse through the stickies I admit it is alot of information to absorb.

My first questions would be:
1. has anybody from Sunland been successful in getting a permit

2. am I correct in stating that the sheriffs office in Monterey Park would be the correct place for me to begin my CCW quest.

3. if Monterey Park is the correct place to begin, has anybody been successful there?

Hate to be negative just don't be disappointed if you are not approved. L.A. County does not issue unless you are a reserve Leo, a judge, or a politician. Otherwise its next to impossible. The only way you have a chance is if the current sheriff lee baca is replaced by someone else. but anyhow good luck and you never know the worst that can happen is they say no. keep us updated
