 Good to have you here and contributing. I don't know if you have been lurking for a while or just found us but there is a little tradition we have around here. For your first trip out of the house with your CCW weapon, you need to stop at the local Walmart and pick up some ammo for your weapon (or stare at the empty ammo case where your ammo should be  ). Afterwards, you should stop at the food service place and load up on some delicious  Walmart nachos. If your Walmart has no nachos you can get some tortilla chips and nacho cheese dip from the snack aisle and enjoy some of those tasty treats. Once that mission is complete, you can send a PM to CalCCW03 to get an icon in your avatar with the permit showing you are a legitimate permit holder. Good luck on you quest and welcome to the forum. I joined this site when I started my application process and the insight I gleaned from the site certainly didn't hurt. A lot of good information from the members.

Working on it.
Did my qualification shoot, got my finger prints (Live Scan), took Safety Course and now I am in the watching, waiting and praying mode.. Have my 30 State CCW which I took at Front Sight. Great advice from Forum Members!

After receiving my application I've decided to wait until the June elections because I discovered that our current sheriff has altered his position on approval. I believe my chances will be better with our newly elected sheriff. The help CalCCW is providing in invaluable.
