Congratulations on your success. We try to help one permit at a time and success consistent as we have constant announcements about new permits being issued.

Talking My California CCW

Got mine not too long ago. Thanks to CCWInstructor for helping me proof my good cause. Also, thank you to the forum members of this site that share so much of your wisdom and carrying experiences, not to mention the application process. Thanks to God, this site, and my fellow gun friends, I have my California CCW.

BTW, I do have the Utah CCW and am in the process of turning in my Florida CCW application by end of next week. For the most part, I should be covered.

I never imagined that I could get a CCW permit until I met CCWI. Once I got the lowdown and with a little help from CCWI and Female instructor I got it. Besides the training I have received from CCWI this site has helped me immensely to understand the responsiblity and privledge of CC.

I had already started the process when I found this and TOS. The amount of response and information I got from CalCCW compared to TOS was phenomenal.

I am sometimes amazed what a curious/innocent Google search started almost 2 years ago. Well let's say it was life changing for me as well as my family!

Like many of the members who came to CalCCW.com. I also lurked quite a bit at a variety of different forums, including TOS and PDO.

I never really had any great desire to get involved with any of those sites or contribute in any way. Nor did I ever have many questions that I could not answer myself with research.

I was quite impressed, however with, not only the volume of responses new members with questions recieved, but also the quality of the answers, that came out of CalCCW.com.

CalCCW.com was the first forum I actually registered on and became a member of. It was also the only forum I had a desire to contribute to. It is stiil the only forum I contribute to regularly.

I still do not ask many questions and my post count is still pretty low considering how long I have been here. I do hope my limited contributions have contributed to the success of CalCCW.com however.

CalCCW.com has done many good things and will continue to do so. I am proud to be associated with such a fine group of people.

Thanks,

Thumbs up

I started my CCW process about 6 months before I found this forum. I voted "I got my CCW because of calccw.com and/or current members " because I did use alot of info that I found here to make the process go smoother. My permit was issued 8 months after i joined this forum for a total of 14 months from start to finish.

Someone needs to have their ID updated with the rice paper icon!

I just received my CCW permit today. A total of nine months from start to finish. I give alot of credit to a few good people that I met on this forum who were very friendly to me and gave me great advice. Before finding this forum, I was told by many friends and coworkers that it was not possible for an average citizen to attain a CCW permit. It is amazing the amount of misinformation there is floating around out there, especially on the internet. For those of you who were friendly from the start and really took the time to help me ..... THANK YOU.
