Not only can you add your number to the total on your own on the first page, you can go to User CP and change your profile to show a symbol for a CCW.

I guess you can add me to the roll as well, though I already got my icon.
I applied about 3 years ago, was turned down for lack of cause, and gave up. If it hadn't been for this site I wouldn't have reapplied. My situation didn't change, but the help I got here with my cause statement made the difference.

my ccw app...
was submitted long before I signed up here; and I recieved my CCW without any problems. However, the information and the mutual respect for all is superb and of high caliber. The founders be blessed and saluted for maintaining this site!

I've had my permit for over 6 years ...
And the interview process was done by an OCSD detective in those days. Fast forward the past few years and these are being handled by women PSD employees, I have no complaints though.

Also noticed, the OCSD armory is only available by appointment only. Back in the days, you can walk in at anytime and have your weapons inspected right there. Lately though, you have to set an appointment, hand over your weapons in a drop box and wait outside, no complaints though.

this is an old thread....but I will make my post. . .
I had filled out my application, had everything ready and I am a forum nut, so i say to myself, "wonder if anyone else is into ccw's". So I search and found TOS, then found CalCCW.com. I couldn't believe there was a forum for CCW's in California. I stayed at work all night reading every thread and I had an interview the NEXT day! I emailed CCWInstructor right away for urgent review. Made my welcome post and I called Melissa to postpone my interview until the next week so I could go in the most prepared. The whole proccess was very smooth and nothing but smiles and friendly people at PSD. I have been here for now almost 8 months and because of CalCCW i have met some of the greatest people, life long friends and along the way I have helped others on CCW info. Thank you CalCCW!
