Default Do not do this at home

Last night in at was taking my clothes out of the wash I was floored to see at the bottom of the washer my wallet which contains my ccw.

Yes my friends my CCW went through a full cycle and was wet through.

I carefully unfolded it and let it dry over night.

I am pleased to report that it is non the worse for the experience although I on the other hand needed CPR to get my heart going again.

Think that qualifies me for "stupid move of the week"

I'm flooded that your wife would allow you to do the laundry!

Glad it all came out ok. I've done my share of laundry mistakes. That's why it's my wife's job, because she knows what's good for her cloths.

Wow you made a mistake! Well...that is what makes us humans, if the CCW permit survived, and looks Ok.. then it is as if it never happened. However I am sure something did happen, and it is the fact that there won't be a next time for the same thing to happen because that is one of the ways we all learn.

Did it shrink? Did you wash it in hot or cold water?

I saw it more as a everready moment or was that a timex moment, it took a licking and kept on ticking.

Bummer! But ... is it really all that difficult to get a duplicate if your ccw is damaged or destroyed?

No... just go down to OCSD and get a new one... I think there is a $10(?) replacement fee... but you shouldn't carry until you get it replaced.
