It's My experiences over the years involved with gun rights issue.

Please show me which organizations out there are perfect. The answer is none. There is no perfect organization/committee/presidential candidate/etc. We are all people and that's what happens with people.

Police are messed up inside their organization too I'm sure, however to discredit them all and everything they do would be a disservice.

The only thing we can do is keep active and keep at it, they are our rights, which means we need to fight for them.

Ref. NRA.
I was pretty annoyed at the fact that they dared to publish the picture of the fat slob who disclosed the identity of one of our NOC agents, the snitch Mr. Scooter Levy. He was one of the stars at a NRA political event as published in the NRA magazine this month.
Anyone who discloses the identity of one of our secret operative is a leaker and a traitor, I do not care if he licks the boots of the president each morning, and gets pardoned after he is caught, he belongs in jail. I don't care either whoever that president might be. Pardon those two guys from border patrol agency who are doing time for doing their jobs instead, and do not pardon this fat slob!!! Theses guys in the white house think they are above the law!!!

The only problem with that is that Scoter "Levy" (Actually it's LIBBY) didn't leak it and wasn't convicted of leaking it. He was convicted of Perjury and Obstruction of Justice. It was nothing more than malicious prosecution.

Get your facts straight.

Yeah man...sorry. I still can't read it.
It's boring graphs and numbers with boring words and other boring stuff. Can't you find a cool thing to share? Sheesh.

Guess i should not have posted some information that i have in regards to what i have experienced over the last 12+ years in regards to the NRA and it's support of anti gun individuals running for office in my home town......i was just like most members ...paid my NRA dues, read my magazine, voted for offices for the NRA board as they recommended in the magazine and local people running for office when they sent me a mailer asking me to vote for the person they picked. I had no more "insider information" back then than you have now.... i just got in involved locally and meet several people on the board of the NRA and got a very different picture of what was going on....it just got me to ask why?... to no avail still to this day...nothings changed ....our NRA reps here give no call back or answers..why?.Hey, just for the fun of it play the devils advocate and make some inquires about Bill Brown and Brooks Firestone why they supported them and see what happens...but be warned.... you will be crossing a line by questing their decision and not following in lock step and risk being labeled radical..... .................you know i just took your quoit at the bottom of your posts at face value..........."If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be. - Thomas Jefferson"...... on a lighter note and something cool to share I still have a Utah CCW and letting my NV CCW run out as NV recognizes Utah permit now.

How's the party at Isle Vista these days? I have a great story about that place.

Face value on Thomas Jefferson is something you'll have to do on your own.

As an insider you know the process that is used by the NRA to generate those endorsements. The questionnaire that is sent out is taken at face value when it is returned. If an individual states one thing and does another then it will reflect the next time that person tries to attach themselves to our organization.

It is my opinion that the Neal Knox group did not understand that an all or nothing attack in a state where you are a minority will end up being nothing. In our state Gun Owners of California did not grasp this concept of incremental victory and we all paid the price for it with micro-stamping.

I fell off the truck recently, but not last night. Every organization, especially a nationwide group, will have it’s down side. As much as we would like to have a black and white world where good always wins, it just isn’t so. I can speak with some authority about the ambition of the gun owning public in this state. I can not get two dozen individuals to become active in the cause out of a list of over one hundred that signed up to help. I generally can use my fingers with some left over. With your position in the members council I am sure you know what I am saying is a fact. All that throwing rocks at each other will do is break glass. No good will come of it. Other than endowments and 503 groups that we have, we should not have a large bank roll in the general fund.

I really don’t think that it is time to put on the tin hats when discussing the motives of the NRA but that is just my opinion.
